Physicals

JUNE 12, 2017 SPORTS PHYSICALS

2017-2018 SCHOOL YEAR

 

The Towanda Area High School will be doing sports physicals on June 12, 2017. 

“One Day Only”

Physicals will only be from 8:30 to 11:30 and 12:30 to 3:00. 

We will be doing physicals for students entering 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade for the 2017-2018 school year at the high school nurses office.

You can print physicals from our web page or pick them up in the office any time before June 12th Please bring your PIAA physical completed with a check payable to THS Athletic Dept.  The cost of the physical is $18.00.  Physicals will not be done if the paperwork is not completed and payment is not with the physical.

 

All sections of the PIAA physicals must be completed.  Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 by the parent or guardian.  Section 6 is for the Doctor to fill out.

 

Students entering 7th and 8th grade can participate in the following sports:

Fall – Jr. High Cross Country, Jr. High Football, and   Jr. High Girls Volleyball.

Winter – Boys/Girls Jr. High Basketball, Boys/Girls Jr. High Swimming and Jr. High Wrestling.

Spring – Jr. High Track and Field, Jr. High Softball and Jr. High Baseball

 

Students entering 9th - 12th grade can participate in the following sports:

Fall – Boys/Girls Cross Country, Football, Golf, Boys/Girls Soccer, Girls Tennis, Girls Volleyball, Football Cheerleader and K-Dettes Band front.

Winter – Boys/Girls Basketball, Boys/Girls Swimming, Wrestling, Basketball Cheerleader, Wrestling Cheerleader and K-Dettes Dance Team

Spring – Baseball, Softball, Boys Tennis and Boys/Girls Track & Field

 

Please look over paperwork as there are many places that need to be signed by the parent/guardian and the student.  Also, sign on the PIAA form by what sport your child is interested in.

 

If you prefer to have your physician do the physical they must be dated after June 1st and submitted to the Athletic Secretary in the High School office.
