The Guidance Office will be hosting 3 College/Career Mini Fairs for students in grades 9-12 on September 20th, November 8th, and April 11th. Students can sign up to attend in their homeroom or in the guidance office. The fair will include representatives/recruiters from college, technical institutes, and various military branches. 
LACKAWANNA COLLEGE DUAL ENROLLMENT MEETING
Jeff Gregory from Lackawanna College will be at the Towanda Jr. Sr. High School on September 27th in the new auditorium for all students enrolled in the following courses. Accounting I, Accelerated Pre-Calc, Algebra III, Accelerated English III, Accelerated World History, Accelerated Statistics, AP English, Sociology/Psychology, AP History, Spanish III/IV, Forensic Science, AP Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology, AP Calculus, ACT Physics, and AP Biology.  Mr. Gregory will give information about dual enrollment credit for college that is available for the 2023-24 school year on September 27th.  

PSAT TO BE ADMINISTERED

We are pleased to be offering the PSAT to all 11th grade students free of charge on October 18, 2023.  Students in grades 9 and 10 may also sign up to take the exam for a fee of $18.00 made payable to Towanda Area School District.

 

7th GRADE MEETINGS

All 7th grade students will have an individual meeting with their guidance counselor during the month of January.  This will be an opportunity for the students to meet their respective guidance counselor, and for the guidance counselor to learn information about each student as it relates to personal and career interests for the future.
