I started at Towanda Area School District in 2006 as a High school learning support teacher.  I currently teach the High School Life Skills class and have since 2014.  I really enjoy my students and work hard to teach the skills they will need when they graduate from High school.  In addition to teaching Special Education, I am also the Transition Coordinator for the Towanda Area School District in which I help students with IEP's connect with outside agencies to help them be successful after graduation.

I graduated from Lycoming College in 1997 with a BA degree in Art Education and a minor/certification in Elementary Education. After working as an Aide for a year for a special education student, I decided to return to college to obtain my Special education certificate from Marywood University.  I worked in a few private special education settings before coming to the Towanda Area School District.  Soon after, I received my M.S. Degree in Education-Classroom Technology from Wilkes University.

I grew up in Wyalusing area and now live there with my husband, children, and our dogs.  My favorite things to do outside of school are horseback riding, hiking, painting, photography, and spending time with my family.

I am very thankful that I am able to do what I love, where I love to be, here at the Towanda Area School District every day!
