Payment for dual enrollment courses through Lackawanna College will be due on February 18th, 2020. A representative from Lackawanna College will be in the guidance office on Tuesday, February 18th at 11 am to take enrollment forms and payment.

Career Fair to be held
Northern Tier Regional Planning & Development Commission (NTRPDC) will again be sponsoring a Career Fair in the Towanda Jr. Sr. High School gym on Friday, March 20th, 2020 for students in Bradford and Sullivan Counties. Towanda students in grades 6, 8, and 9 will be participating in the Career Fair.
The next College/Career Fair will be held for students in grades 9 - 12 on Wednesday, April 8th. Students interested in attending may sign up in the guidance office or their homeroom. A list of organizations that will be represented can be found here.
All sophomores and any juniors or seniors who took the ASVAB on October 21 will report to the cafeteria on November 19 at 1:00 p.m. A military representative will go over their results and facilitate a career exploration exercise based on those results.
7th Grade Field Trip to Corning Community College
All 7th graders will be going on a field trip to Corning Community College on Wednesday, November 20. Students will get exposure to college and vocational education options available within driving distance. They will also learn about dual enrollment and have a tour of campus. Permission slips should be returned to homeroom teachers.
Freshman will be scheduled for individual meetings with their guidance counselor beginning November 7, 2019. Guidance counselors will be discussing credits, graduation requirements, and individual student concerns.
