Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week (PFEW) - PFEW is an award-winning week-long summer economics education program offered to all current high school sophomores and juniors throughout Pennsylvania. It is an exciting, team-based program that teaches students to understand and celebrate the American free enterprise system by introducing them to the inner workings of modern 21st century business. PFEW helps students develop critical skills in communication, leadership, time management, problem solving and team building all while improving their self-esteem and confidence. The PFEW program provides students with opportunities to assess interests, build skills, and identify and explore careers in an interactive, hands-on setting. Oxbridge Academic Programs offered by World Strides - Summer academies for students in grades 7-12 are offered in a variety of locations in the United States and Europe for 1-4 weeks depending upon the session/location/subject. Students have the opportunity to be immersed academically and experientially in topics that interest them while simultaneously experiencing some of the world's cultural centers while interacting with leading academics and like-minded peers. Congress of Future Medical Leaders is a 3 day symposium in Boston, MA for students interested in becoming doctors. Students get to hear from Nobel prize-winning doctors and researchers and observe a live surgery.

 

Stanford Academic Enrichment Programs provide pre-collegiate students from the U.S. and around the world the chance to explore their passions and dive deep into a single topic beyond what is typically taught in a school curriculum.The innovative curriculum emphasizes course topics that are not typically seen in high school. Workshops are exploratory in nature and are taught in a seminar-style setting with an emphasis on participation, interaction, communication and developing critical thinking skills. At Lehigh University Summer Academy, you’ll diversify your knowledge and develop leadership skills, while experiencing Lehigh’s campus life and rich traditions first-hand. Our unique program is limited to only 80 students and includes a combination of academics, service-learning, and leadership development. As an accepted participant, you’ll become part of an exclusive cohort, ready to make a positive impact on the world, whether it’s in the field of science, engineering, the arts, or humanities. The program is for qualified, rising 6th-11th graders, who have an interest in scholastic achievement and the energy to use one’s talents to the fullest.
