My name is Caitlyn Doerner and I am one of the business teachers at Towanda High School.
I attended Bloomsburg University from 2011-2014 where I majored in Business Education with a minor in Information & Technology Management.
I spent the first two years of my teaching career in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania and was hired at Towanda in September of 2016.
Classes I currently teach include:
- Sports & Entertainment Marketing;
- Accounting;
- Programming, Gaming, & Robotics; and
- Digital Video Editing
I am the Independent Apprenticeship Coordinator and manage our school news channel "Knightly News" through my Digital Video Editing class.
Some things that I am involved with outside the classroom include helping co-advise our FBLA and SADD clubs here at the high school. I also coach the Jr. High Girls Softball team as well. Things I enjoy doing in my spare time include running, kayaking, spending time outside, and metal detecting.
