Towanda boys basketball camp
Summer kickoff 2023
Presented by the Towanda Varsity Boys’ Basketball Team.
What: A competitive early elementary basketball camp to help develop fundamentals, skills, friendships, and a greater interest in basketball.
Where: On the campus of Towanda High School
Towanda, PA 18848
Who: The camp is open to TOWANDA ELEMENTARY BOYS between grades 4th-8th. Two divisions: “NCAA” (4th-6th) & “NBA” (7th-8th)
When: Monday - Thursday June 12th,13th,14th, 15th
9:00am – 3:00 pm each day.
Facilities: Two full-size air-conditioned gyms with seating and concession stand provided.
Format: Towanda Varsity Boys Basketball Players will be camp counselors. Coach Henry will direct and oversee. 1v1 & 3v3 Tournament, Hot Shot Challenge, Knockout & Dribble Knockout, Stations/Skill Work with Counselors, Lunch, 5v5 Games in afternoon.
Cost: Entrance fee is $80 per player. (Family Discount: 2 children = $120.) Checks can be made payable to: Towanda Boys Varsity Basketball.
Awards: Medals will go to tournament champions. Camp counselors and our coaching staff will select an all-camp team. There will also be a Camp MVP and Sportsmanship Award.
*Please have a lunch packed for your son unless he plans to eat pizza. Pizza will be provided at lunch for $2.00 a slice. Gatorade ($2.00) and water ($1.00) will be available in the concession stand.
*Parents/Guardians are welcome to attend and watch end of camp activities each day anytime between 2:30 – 3:00 pm. Awards ceremony to be held last day of camp.
