The Food Drive was started last year as a competition between the two schools to go along with the Bronze Helmet rivalry football game. By the end of the collection period, it wasn’t about the competition. The drive had turned into a wonderful way for us to help the TACO Food Pantry and stand together as schools. This is the direction we took the food drive this year. Needless to say, it has been very successful. Thanks to the hard work by both districts and the organization efforts of the Towanda Student Council, National Honor Society and Wyalusing National Honor Society, the schools have raised over 6,000 cans for the local TACO Food Pantry.
