If your child just finished the school year in one of J. A. Morrow Primary School’s Pre-K Counts classroom with Mr. Johnson or Mrs. Napp, you are invited to participate in a state wide survey to share your experience. The Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) is the funding source for the Pre-K Counts program for the Towanda Area School District and no one outside the study team will have access to any of your specific answers. An unofficial, impromptu Class of 1989 Reunion is gaining momentum and all classmates are welcome to meetup August 15th, 16th and 17th during the 32nd River Fest in Towanda.
Everything we need in a venue and more will be there. Fun rides, no stress, hay rides around town, canoeing, Bingo! Karaoke, a dance floor, darn good BBQ...and a fantastic fireworks show on the closing nite.
Exact base location details inside the River Fest are T.B.D. If you are in or near Towanda, please come!

There are two food programs available to all students this summer. Child Hunger Outreach Program is offering weekly boxes of food that will be distributed at their Towanda location. Completed forms can be dropped off at the school or CHOP. For more information contact Dani Ruhf at 570-499-9665. The other program available to anyone 18 years old and younger is a free lunch program operated by the Bradford County YMCA at the JA Morrow All Purpose Room weekdays from 11:15 AM – 12:30 PM. No enrollment required. For more information on the free lunch program call Katie at 570-268-9622.

Graduation will be held outside tonight at 7:00 PM.
