welcome to the 2020 winter and spring Sports Awards competition and Athletics teach many of the life lessons that students need succeed in today's world on March 13th we entered unchartered Waters and face new unforeseen challenges however Challenge and adversity is what makes us stronger the teachers of perseverance problem solving in leadership equips us with the tools to fight and overcome future obstacles that will inevitably stand in the way of our goals I want to thank everyone in our district and Community for your efforts and contributions throughout the are you specially want to thank the coaches athletes and parents for their continued support of our athletic programs your coaches will be in touch sometime this week to coordinate the pick-up or delivery of letters and awards keep social distancing wearing masks and adhering to the policies that have been put in place so that we can get back to school and to Athletics in the fall we hope tonight's virtual gives you some sense of normalcy in this trying time and enjoy the awards introducing coach Stacy Wickwire with Cadets I wish I could have had a very productive season they choreographed and performed several different routines I would like to hard work and dedication to this season thanks for helping us performed and always remember smiling dance like no one's watching and Stacy Cadet letter Award winners have girls basketball play one of the girls basketball team girls had a pretty good season this year where the regular season record of 16 and 6 we were the NCL article Champions we made it to the finals of the NCAA Showdown who are The Four Season districts and also playoff game but lost to a very good Central Columbia team that went on to compete in the state tournament with only one graduating senior hope you're bringing back the majority of our team but don't take anything for granted other teams will be working to get better and nothing will be given to us hopefully the girls are working on the games try to get us to that next level which is competing for district titles and get to the state tournament I would like to wish Hannah and all the other graduating seniors the
