Important Message

Towanda Jr/Sr High School temporarily went into a modified lock down when a fire alarm unexpectedly was tripped. The procedures we have in place for this type of situation worked perfectly while we identified the source of the alarm. The modified lock down as been lifted and all students and staff are safe. As a precaution we will continue to have extra police presence at the school.

Important Message

Please be aware that district administration and local police continue to investigate a threat towards the jr/sr high school found in a boy’s bathroom. After interviewing several individuals, the legitimacy of the threat is unfounded. As an extra precaution, we will have extra security measures in place this week. We hope to catch the individual responsible for this idle threat and punish them as the law permits. We do not take these situations lightly and encourage anyone with information to contact administration at the jr/sr high school.
