Today in English III we continued read Section 4 of Death of a Salesman (pgs. 95-122).  Each class is in a different place.  Here is a brief rundown:

• Pd. 1: Stopped on page 108
• Pd. 2: Stopped on page 100
• Pd. 3: Almost done watching Section 3
• Pd. 4: Stopped on page 109
• Pd. 7: Stopped on page 116
• Pd. 9: Stopped on page 112

When we finish reading Section 4, we will watch that section of the movie and go over our summary.

Make sure your summary is updated to the point we left off in class.

Today in English III, we continued reading and watching Section III of Death of a Salesman.  Each class is in a different spot, so here is a general run down of our schedule:

• Reading Section III (Beginning of Act II to Charley's Second Entrance)
• Watching Section III
• Discussing the Section III Summary
• Assigning Parts for Section IV (for extra credit)
• Reading Section IV (Charley's Second Entrance to the End of the Restaurant Scene)

Periods 1, 4, 7, & 9 will be reading Section IV on Monday.  Period 2 must first finish watching the last 5 minutes of Section III and discuss the Section III summary.  Our goal for the next week is going to be to finish reading and watching Death of a Salesman all together. 

No Homework.  Make sure your DoaS Summary is up to date.  I will be collecting it (for 25 points) as soon as we are done discussing Section V.

Today in English III, we read Section III of Death of a Salesman.  If we finished reading, we started watching Section III of the movie version.

Tomorrow we will continue reading and watching.  If we finish watching Section III of the movie, we will be going over the section III summary in class.

Please complete your summaries up to the point where we left off in the reading.  Be ready to discuss it as soon as we finish watching Section III.

Today in English III, most of my classes started by watching the end of Section II of Death of a Salesman.  All classes went over the Section II summary, so make sure you have that section completely updated.  We have now reached the end of Act I. 

We then moved on to assigning parts for Section III.  We started reading, but did not finish the section.  We will pick up with our reading tomorrow in class.

Please make sure that you have included what we read in class today in your Section III summary.

Today in English III we finished up reading Section II of Death of a Salesman and then watched Section II of the movie (1985, Dustin Hoffman).

Tomorrow we will be discussing the summary for Section II and moving on to Section III.  I will once again be taking volunteers for each reading part.  Volunteers receive 10 points of extra credit.

Make sure your summary is ready for tomorrow.

Today in English III we tried our hardest to finish section 2 (also the end of Act I) of Death of a Salesman.  Some classes made it to the end (periods 3, 4, & 7); other classes have about a page to go (periods 1, 2, & 9).

Please complete your summary up to the point where we left off reading.  If you're class finished the section today, we will start Monday's class by going over your summary.  Either way, all classes will start watching section 2 on Monday at some point during class.
